If we compare a hydraulic system with an electrical system we get so many resemblance.In one system we flow current through wires in another system we flow hydraulic fluid through hoses and pipes.For generating power we use generator in electrical system but we use hydraulic pump in hydraulic system to create the flow of fluid.The details of comparison is here under.
HYDRAULIC SYSTEM ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
HYDRAULIC PUMP ------------------> GENERATOR
FLOW OF FLUID ----------------------> FLOW OF CURRENT
HOSES AND PIPES --------------------> WIRES
HYDRAULIC MOTOR ----------------> ELECTRIC MOTOR
DIRECTIONAL CONTROL VALVE-> SWITCHES
RELIEF VALVE -------------------------> CIRCUIT BREAKER
CHECK VALVE -------------------------> DIODE
ACCUMULATOR -----------------------> CAPACITOR BOOSTER --------------------------------> TRANSFORMER CYLINDER ------------------------------> SOLENOID PRESSURE DIFFERENCE --------->POTENTIAL DIFFERENCE
